Supply Clergy
Supply Clergy are paid at the rate of $200 for one principal weekly service (Saturday & Sunday services and those held on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Vigil), $225 (total) for two services in the same location. Weekday services $100. Round-trip mileage is to be paid from the clergy’s residence to the church at the current IRS mileage reimbursement rate of .76 per mile.
Deacons may, at times, be used to distribute pre-sanctified Holy Communion. However, you must receive prior authorization for this from Bishop Stephen Lane. Bishop Steve may be reached at blane@episcopalwny.org or 716.881.0660 x 113
