Committee on Constitution & Canons

It shall be the duty of the Committee to consider all proposals for the adoption, amendment or repeal of the Constitution and Canons of the Diocese of Western New York and the Rules of Order of the Convention thereof and to report each of the proposals to the Convention with such alterations as it deems advisable.

Constitution & Canons Members

The Committee consists of four members of the Clergy and four lay persons appointed by the Bishop for four-year terms. The Bishop shall appoint, or reappoint, one member of the Clergy and one lay person, at each Diocesan Convention. The Bishop shall appoint, and at discretion may replace, the Committee Chair.
