Taking Time to Get It Right: A Faithful Reset of Our Bishop Search
Sometimes moving forward faithfully means recognizing when a different approach is needed. The Standing Committee is announcing a reset of the bishop search process, acknowledging challenges related to communication, coordination, timing, and the need for a clearer understanding of our shared diocesan identity. Rather than pressing ahead with a process that needed strengthening, the committee is choosing to create space for deeper listening, honest conversation, and renewed collaboration.
