WNY Clergy Gather for Listening Session

On Tuesday, June 3, more than 55 clergy from across Western New York gathered at the D-Center for a meaningful listening session hosted by the Standing Committee. The evening provided an opportunity to worship together, reconnect with colleagues, and collaboratively chart the next steps for the diocese’s future.

Following a time of shared worship, the Rev. Luke Fodor, President of the Standing Committee, offered an update on recent efforts to secure an interim Bishop Provisional and to launch the upcoming search process for the next Bishop Diocesan of Western New York.

Clergy then broke into small groups to name the questions on their hearts and share the insights they wanted the Standing Committee to consider. The atmosphere was marked by honesty, hope, and a spirit of shared purpose.

It was a deeply successful evening of discernment and dialogue. The Standing Committee now carries the wisdom and feedback of the clergy as it continues to lead the diocese through this important season of transition.
