Episcopal Diocese of Western New York

Collaboration with NWPA

The Dioceses of Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania have been working together in a variety of ways for several years.  Beginning in the fall of 2017, we are exploring the possibility of a much closer collaboration.

On December 22, our two dioceses launched the Rustbelt Episcopal Facebook page. Here, you will find updates from the Dioceses of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York, as we consider a shared future that includes the possibility of sharing a bishop for the next five years. Check out our website at https://rustbeltepiscopal.org/, and look out for an email newsletter coming soon.

Stay tuned for dates and locations of upcoming listening sessions taking place in Western New York in February and Northwestern Pennsylvania in April.
