Episcopal Diocese of Western New York

Collaboration with NWPA

The Dioceses of Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania have been working together in a variety of ways for several years.  Since the fall of 2017, we have been exploring the possibility of a much closer collaboration.

On December 22, 2017, our two dioceses launched the Rustbelt Episcopal Facebook page. Here, you can find updates from the Dioceses of Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York, as we consider a shared future that includes the decision to share a bishop for the next five years. Check out our website at https://rustbeltepiscopal.org/, and look out for an email newsletter coming soon.
