Episcopal Diocese of Western New York

Is God Calling You?

If you believe that God is calling you to the ordained ministry, the first step is to talk to the priest at your congregation.

The next step is to attend an Explorer’s Day.

The program of Explorer’s Day is a combination of prayer, Bible Study, Theological Reflection and some conversation about the ordination process and the life of ordained ministry.

The next Explorer’s Day is Saturday September 9 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Erie, PA. St. Mark’s address is 4701 Old French Road. Erie, PA 16509.

Explorer’s Day starts at 9:30 am and ends at 3 pm. It is important that you plan to be there for the whole day.

Your priest (or a warden from your congregation) must attend Explorer’s Day with you.

If you wish to attend Explorer’s Day, have your priest or warden email Vicki Zust (vzust@episcopalwny.org) by September 3 to reserve a place.

The next Explorer’s Day will be Saturday January 20, 2018 at the Diocesan Ministry Center in Tonawanda.
